Ring of Fire 2026: Recap
The trails delivered again this year. After a crisp start, temperatures warmed to a perfect 59° and sunny by race time — ideal conditions for fast lines all day. 248 riders started, and 229 crossed the finish, a 92.3% finish rate on a course that doesn't hand out easy miles.
Top of the Field
Stefano Barberi (Reno, NV) took the overall win in 3:36:02, putting real distance on the field. Kent Ross (Portland, OR / Cascadia Cycling) held on for 2nd at +5:37, with Noah Sanders (Portland, OR) rounding out the podium in 3rd.

- Jennifer Burtner — 4:54:24, 71st overall (Bend, OR / Hutch's Bend Dental)
- Maya Holzman — 5:07:32, 88th overall (Bend, OR / Team 10 Barrel)
- Jenny Tobin — 5:15:26, 97th overall (Boise, ID)
Masters Field
The Masters ranks were stacked this year. Justin Thomas (51, Reno NV / TCI Wealth Advisors) led all Masters Men, finishing 6th overall in 3:59:19 — inside the top 10 against the whole field. Jennifer Burtner topped Masters Women, going 4:54:24 to finish 71st overall.
Team Booger Shows Up
Team Booger's junior riders put together an outstanding day. Lincoln Sanchez, racing Junior Men U18, finished 45th overall in 4:38:47 — ahead of the vast majority of the adult field. Right behind him, 16-year-old Alia Anderson finished 67th overall in 4:52:31, racing (and holding her own) in the Open Women category against full-grown competition — good enough for 2nd woman overall. Two young riders turning in results that a lot of adults would be proud of.
