The Oregon Triple Crown series offers six epic, fully-supported, timed rides through the stunning backroads of Oregon. Whether you smash out 20mph for over 6,000ft of climbing or take it a bit easier with the hills and the speed on our shorter loops, you’ll have an unforgettable day of fun and camaraderie on the bike.

All get a sweet swag pack at the first event you attend with OTC branding,and, at the end of the season, if you have finished 3 events, you’ll receive a custom Pactimo jersey complimentary for the first 100 to sign up and 60.00 to all others including shipping for all others as an optional purchase when you become an Oregon Triple Crowner and finish three events!

The 57-mile Takema Tough Bold ride begins by taking riders through the doors of the casino before rolling towards the town of Canyonville and onto rural, Tiller Trail Highway. Passing farm and ranch landscapes along the South Umpqua River, soon you’re into the gravel experience with a 1.3 mile climbing effort of 9% average gain, then cresting to a spectacular valley view of Days Creek.

OREGON TRIPLE CROWN 2025 PARTY ON June 28TH at the Takelma Gravel Grinder

We’ll celebrate the end of the season and all you Oregon Triple Crowners with jerseys, giveaways, and more who finished 3 events and is signed up for the Oregon Triple Crown.

Additionally for anyone who participated and finished in the first three events in the series, we will have your custom Pactimo jersey waiting for you at packet pickup in Oakridge for our final event!

For those of you who have yet to complete 3 events and have signed up for the OTC series, we will be mailing your jersey after the Sasquatch Duro.

A custom Co-Motion Cycles Klatch frame and carbon fork, valued at over $2500.00, will be given away along with a voucher for Rolf Prima Wheels and more.

All overall age group podium (top 3) in most cases except the bolded categories will be awarded podiums at each event in the larger age groups will receive 25% off the OTC series the following season,and

Overall Champions Elite Men, Elite Women, 15-23, 24-39,40-49,50-59,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75+and Non-Binary who compelte 3 and win the age group will receive 50% the 2026 Series!

13 total Overall champions.

In addition, we will award a Grand Champion award at the final event based on the fastest age range for men and women for a complimentary entry to all OTC events in 2026.

All OTC Overall Age group leaders will be granted a Pactimo Leaders Vest as well to wear at the start of each event, as long as the rider is in the lead or tied for the overall series.

The Top OTC Team (Designated Long Course) will receive three entries to each OTC event in the subsequent season at no charge. Second and third receive a special team discount for the subsequent year.

Can I just register for an event without signing up for the Oregon Triple Crown?

Yes, so many can just come to the Oregon Coast Gravel Epic, or Oregon Gran Fondo. Sign up on that webpage and we will see you. Remember you can always sign up after your event for the Stand Alone Pass and join the OTC anytime while space exists through July 1st.
Only Oregon Triple Crowners are eligible for the end-of-series raffle at the final event valued at 5 grand in prizes.
Which distance should I ride?

Sign up for any distance and before the event. If you want to ride longer, let us know before the event up until the packet pickup.
We time your progress for safety and competition, so ride strong!

In the end, we love people who ride bikes!
What is the suggested type of bike to ride at an Oregon Triple Crown Event?

Gravel Bikes rule the scene with 38-42 MM tires and a spirit of adventure. We have a fair share of hardtail mountain bikes that tend to fly downhill at warp speed.
What happens if I get hurt prior to the OTC Series?

First off, injuries happen, and if you pre-purchase third-party insurance from Bike Reg and Allianz, you are covered in many cases. Please check the fine print when registering. We do accept ten injury transfers to push to the next season. Please note that until Monday of the event week, we can transfer your entry to anyone through Bike reg for $10.00, so make sure you have friends.

How many OTC spots are available each season?

The OTC has 150 three-event passes available each season for the most significant discounts, including a complimentary jersey for the first 100 signed up. In addition, we offer the Stand Alone Passes to sign up for, which will allow us to track your age group ranking and receive all the fantastic OTC gear, including the Pactimo Finisher Jersey at 50% off, after completing three events.
What is the most popular tire size?

38's or 40MM.
Really depends on your skill and abilities.

What are the best places to stay at each event?

Plenty!
Camping for your under 24 ft vehicle exists at the Sasquatch Duro Friday Night and the Oregon Gran Fondo. Tent options as well at Greenwaters Park in Oakridge or Bohemia Park in Cottage Grove.

KOA has an excellent site at the Oregon Coast Gravel Epic in Waldport, plus so many choices for the first weekend of the OTC on the Oregon Coast.

VRBO, Hotel or other, just make sure to check cancelation policies and bring a friend or partner to enjoy the local happenings while you ride for 3-8 hrs!
Aid Stations

We proudly serve Hammer Nutrition products such as Heed and Hammer Gel. Our aid stations serve up various foods, including local fruits when in season, including local bakery items as well.
Are Ebikes allowed?

Currently, we allow Ebikes at all events as long as they are Class 1 with a 15-minute head start!
Does the Oregon Triple Crown have time cutoff's

Yes, we have time cut-offs for each event for your safety and the safety of the event volunteers. What is unique about the OTC is that if it is not your day, you can always ride shorter by taking a shorter route. If you do this, please let the next aid station know, place a special sticker on your plate, and let the finish line timing crew know.
Who can Register for Elite?

Elite is Self-Selected, and no upgrade is required. Elite will stage at the front of the long course
