The Mudslinger XC: A Northwest Tradition
Since 1987, the Mudslinger has been a staple of Oregon mountain biking. Hosted in Blodgett, OR (just 20 minutes west of Corvallis), you’ll be racing on the historic grounds of the 1991 NORBA State Championships.
What to Expect:
- The Terrain: A rugged mix of old-school logging roads and ~40% pure PNW singletrack.
- The Grind: Punchy, challenging climbs followed by fast, loamy descents built on our logging heritage.
- Pro Tip: Run a high-traction front tire! Expect "Mudslinger weather"—typically 50-55°F with a 40% chance of rain. Be ready for anything.
A massive thank you to Starker Forests for their continued support of recreation in Benton County!
