Crushing it in 2023 this race is set to sell out at the 250 max riders in 2024!
Silver Falls State Park is the largest state park in Oregon and was considered for National Park status, but ultimately rejected in 1926 due to the extensive logging. Those trees grew back long ago and the state park, named for is numerous waterfalls that flow down Silver Creek toward Silverton, is a great place for kids of all ages to find a variety of both relaxation and adventure. After years of dreaming about a cross country mountain bike race at the park, in 2022 Capitol Velo Cycling made it happen. Returning for 2023, the Silver Falls XC Mountain Bike Race features a course that takes racers out 1.2 miles on the Howard Creek Loop before they enter the trails that make up the laps that determine course length (short, medium, or long) with a final return on the Howard Creek Loop to staging area to cross the finish line.
This race wouldn’t be possible without dedication and efforts of the Salem Area Trail Alliance (SATA) puts into building and maintaining the trail network within the park. For more information about SATA, visit www.salemtrails.org.
The Sisters Stampede is the largest XC mountain bike race in the PNW occurring Memorial weekend each year.
This year with a twist moving with the support of the US Forest Service to Labor Day Weekend. This event features a horse lead out for the Elite Men's and women's waves and 500 of your closest friends.
The trails were built by the Sisters Trail Alliance, who are passionate about making this beautiful area accessible to cyclists, runners, and hikers.
This thrilling race course features stunning views of the Three Sisters Mountains, and rolling singletrack scattered with Central Oregon lava rock. This course is mainly singletrack which will test riders’ strength and stamina, but has far less climbing than any other event in the series making it a crowd favorite.

BACK FOR MORE IN 2024 THIS WILL BE THE 2024 SERIES FINALS!
The Washougal XC course has it all! It’s nestled on a densely forested hillside at the beautiful Washougal Motocross Park. Right from the gun we attack some steep climbs and gain the majority of the course's elevation.
You’ll work your way through various types of soils, exposed roots and rocks, and even take a short rip through the moto track.
You can expect a 4-6 mile loop that we do multiple times. A format that’s becoming a fan favorite because you can cheer friends and family on throughout the battle.
So much of the course is under a tree canopy and crisscrosses a few creeks which surprisingly makes the course more bearable when racing in the July heat.
Format: Wave/group starts.
