Nutcracker MTB

August 31st, 2019

Mudslinger Events is proud to be involved in this second-year event on Labor Day Weekend featuring some of the most rugged singletracks in the USA on the North Umpqua Trail. New for this year we will let you roll 14 miles of gravel before entering the North Umpqua Trail for 38 miles and 6 segments of the NUT to the finish at the Tioga Bridge. Expect a 1 hr quicker finish time to not kill your soul and some of the most untapped riding in America!

Some basics and timeline around the event.

If you need more info send me a e-mail at mike@mudslingerevents.com

The Link below will take you to the Umpqua Economic Development Partnership who hosts some signature events and who have partnered up to bring you this event along with the post-event N.U.T. Cracker MTB BASH in Stweart Park after the event.

First off this is a point to point race starting from the Lemolo Lake Resort close to Diamond Lake. Please bring someone special to hang out with the night prior and to pick you up at the finish at Tioga Bridge. If you can’t do that make sure to select the Shuttle option for 50.00! We can’t plan unless you do your part!

Special Note:

You will want to stay close to the start and camp or get up early for the 90-minute drive east from Roseburg if staying in Roseburg Friday. In addition, you will want to reserve a room Saturday in Roseburg for the awards ceremony at 6 pm for the overall top riders and a 1000.00 cash purse for the overall top 3!

Saturday

Breakfast provided for all participants 6:00 am until 7:45 am with packet pickup and late registration.

NO Onsite parking, so drop off on the rd outside of Lemolo Lake and ride your bike in to be on time for the start. The starting line is outside of Lemolo Lake resort anyway, so parking on the side of the road is ok as long as you are not blocking or creating a safety hazard for you or spectators.

Please do not drive into Lemolo Lake Resort if you are not staying on site. Please ride or have someone drop you off or park off the road and ride in. Poodle Creek is really close as are plenty of camping locations if you reserve early.
